Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers with leakage vent.
Brazed heat exchangers with security for internal leakage.
This constriction avoid that one media will be mixed to the second media, if the heat exchanger failure. The invention make it possible instantly find eventfully leakage. A separate zone will be protected with barriers. The zone has a ventilation hole so leakage quick will be find. This security can be finding from brazed heat exchangers from AIA, Themokey, Nagao and Tau Power. The construction is unique and is only possible to get from these companies.
 

Method to protect Copper Brazed Heat Exchangers from aggressive media.
The idea is to use a standard copper brazed heat exchanger, after brazing protect the surface with thin layer of Tin or plastic. This method has been used for protecting the copper from Ammonia, with perfect results. The
patent has been sold to GEA Ecobraze 2002.
 

Multi Channels Heat Exchangers, Integrated Circuits (IC).
This innovation makes it possible to use several media in same heat exchangers. With different barriers and shapes over the pressed plate it's possible to make several heat transfer zones with various media. This innovation makes it possible to use only one heat exchanger where you normally need several. It will be possible customize the heat exchangers after the end needs. The patent is used in EC-39 and EC-59 for chillers and heat pumps, DH-39, DH-Matilda and DH-59 for district heating and Dryer23 and Dryer59 for drying of compressed Air.

 

Heat Exchangers and method for drying compressed air.
In this heat exchanger the incoming compressed Air cools down from the dry out going air. The Air passes an evaporator and cools down further. The Air gets in to a separation zone where the condensed water will be released. After the separations zone the Air cross over it self into the second channels. This patent is used for Dryer23 and Dryer59.
This patent owns jointly together with AFTEC (Flair-Nagao Inc.), Japan.
 

Strengthening of Heat Exchangers.
The construction makes it possible to use big ports without reducing the heat exchangers strength. The connections will be surrounded with bolts absorbing the force from the high pressure inside the ports. Using this technique it will be possible to make heat exchangers for carbon dioxide and working pressure at 110 bars. It will also be able to use ports bigger than 150 mm and working pressure higher than 40 bars.

 

Cross Flow Heat Exchangers.
Cross flow heat exchangers with open flanks and brazed corners. The innovation makes it possible to use media with high pressure and high temperature up to 650°C with exceptional low pressure drop. This heat exchanger is used special for air or other gases.
Patent has been sold to Compact Plate AB, Sverige, 2000.
 

Cross Flow Heat Exchangers.
Cross flow heat exchangers with two open flanks and two ports
. The innovation makes it possible to use media with high pressure and high temperature up to 650°C with exceptional low pressure drop. This heat exchanger is used for liquid and compressed air or other gases. This innovation is used in aircraft type Crossflow-19 for compressed air at 20 bars and 250°C. Patent has been sold to Compact Plate AB, Sverige, 2000.
 

Ejection systems for secure oil return and make perfect distribution in the evaporator.
The Idea is to use the pressure different between condenser and evaporator to make an ejector. The ejector pumps back oil and liquid from the bottom and recirculate the flow to the inlet. This innovation is used in EC-39, EC-59, Dryer23 and Dryer59.

 

New Pattern for Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers.
With this new pattern it's possible to make much stronger heat exchangers than before, the strength increase with 80% compare to normal herring bone shape. Instead of herring bone shape, we use dimples with flat tops where the brazing area will be well defined and bigger. The efficiency is higher with better heat transfer and lower pressure drop.

 

Temperature control system for tap water.
 Temperature sensor is integrated in the heat exchangers. Using wax with a define melting temperature like 55 degree in surrounded part in the heat exchanger, when the wax melt it will expand and this force will be used to close the valve for regulating. This innovation is used in DH39-24 and Matilda systems. This patent owns jointly together with Sundsvall Energi.

 

Temperature stabilizer.
To use wax with a specific melting temperature or two different wax with different melting temperatures. It is possible to avoid high temperature peak or to low temperature before the valve has been stabile. Test shows more than 90 % of the temperature variations disappear. This patent owns jointly together with Sundsvall Energi.


Gasket Heat Exchangers

Pre bended end plates.
This innovation makes it possible to reduce the thickness of the end plates. The end plates which are pre bended will work like a spring. The gap between the heat transfer plates will not be open before the force produced by the pressure inside has extended the spring force.

 

Supporting of gasket around leakage vent.
The idea is to make the gasket area with support from the corrugation in the pressed plate. This makes it possible to reduce the thickness of the heat transfer plates and increase the working pressure.

Frame construction for hydraulic presses.
This innovation makes it easy to standardise the frames for hydraulic presses. It makes it also easy to assembling or disassembling the press. The production cost will be lower compares to conventional technique.

 

Hydraulic press with rectangular piston.
This innovation makes it possible to use rectangular piston in hydraulic presses. This makes it possible to reduce the press size with more than 50 % with same press power. The deflection of the press table will be much lower.
